The Lord reaches
through the pages
of his Word and draws
my weary head
with his hands
against his heart
and as I lean
into its warmth
I sync
with its rhythm
that gallops
steadily
a cavalry cadence
beating triumphantly
songs of calvary
renewing my strength
with his mighty
right hand
