Vision of Splendor in Heaven

Updated: Apr 24

The Lord your God is in your midst, a mighty one who will save; he will rejoice over you with gladness; he will quiet you by his love; he will exult over you with loud singing.

Zephaniah 3:17

A lush valley sweeps down to scoop a sea of people, who are shimmering in a golden light that smiles upon and through them. It's a rosy light, that embraces like a kiss. Mighty mountains, clothed in bright moss and tropical trees leap upward, in praise. Yet, they still appear to bow low in the presence of Father, who is exulting over his people, as we sing our hearts out to him, with our whole being. Everyone is so full of praise and adoration, that people are worshiping with their whole bodies.

The atmosphere is euphoric, yet sober. Everyone is grinning and laughing with one another, as we are singing to the Lord, as if we can hardly contain the excitement - a JOY never known before. Each one, magnifying the others. The multitude of voices echoes across the valley and the accompaniment of angel harmonies sound like a waterfall with wind, but even more beautiful and pure. God is illuminating the valley with his colorful light. Illuminating us. With himself. We are LIT. He is this radiant light that floods our senses with a love that makes you feel like he's dancing with you as you're pouring out in worship to him. It doesn't matter how near or far those in the valley are to the throne of God (or his seat, in this situation) . . . Because everyone feels him with them, and is embraced by him personally. Even amidst these 100s of thousands of people. There is a mutual joyful, ecstatic, peaceful delight, as are singing and it's the most resounding reverberation of beauty and perfection I have ever heard. It is loose, free, but perfect. And he is dancing over us, as a Father with a physical shape, but also as light. A balmy breeze grazes our hair and the rose light sky brushes every face with the glow of consummation.
