Coop is always singin' a little diddy and making himself cry. My grandma Buba's greatest piece of advice was to start every day with a little song of thanks to the Lord.
Do we realize the power and authority we have in Christ Jesus? When we worship from our understanding, we prophesy to our ailing and suffering bodies. We sing truth and gratitude as living sacrifices to God and it becomes a means of grace to us. When we worship from our understanding, the resurrection power of Christ ministers to our broken bones.
Darkness and pain may remain for a while. True worship breaks its tether off our spirits, because the Lamb who was slain is worthy of our suffering.
But rejoice insofar as you share Christ’s sufferings, that you may also rejoice and be glad when his glory is revealed. 1 Peter 4:13
I would have lost heart, unless I had believed That I would see the goodness of the LORD In the land of the living. Psalm 27: 13
A merry heart does good, like medicine, But a broken spirit dries the bones. Proverbs 17:22
You are a hiding place for me; you preserve me from trouble; you surround me with shouts of deliverance. Psalm 32:7
