For though by this time you ought to be teachers, you need someone to teach you again the first principles of the oracles of God; and you have come to need milk and not solid food. For everyone who partakes only of milk is unskilled in the word of righteousness, for he is a babe. But solid food belongs to those who are of full age, that is, those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil. Hebrews 5:11-14
A very direct message from the Lord. Please take it to him:
"My daughter, I want you to speak about an offering that the church has placed before my throne that is not pleasing to me. The stench of corrupt worship has reached the limits of my longsuffering patience.
I desire song and praise. Like with David, I bestow musical gifts upon my body. Zion has always been known for her songs. They are songs that I have given her. However, many are grabbing at a musical security blanket that feels cozy and has nothing to do with me. It is about what they "get" out of it, and not about me. This security blanket provides nothing but temporary warmth that is not from my Spirit, but from the flesh. And in some cases, from unclean spirits, masquerading as angels of light.
This unclean spirit entices hearts that are carnally minded, rather than spiritually minded, though many believe that this worship is of me. This spirit deceives many into believing that they are experiencing an open heaven and my presence. What it's actually doing is putting another veil between them and my real glory.
Obedience is the worship that is a pleasing fragrance to me. The fruit of my Spirit is grown through suffering and obedience, as this was the way that my Son redeemed the world. My son learned obedience by suffering. This veil cannot be torn through a sensory experience, but only through my word, Jesus Christ. Only the blood of my son tears the veil.
I am enthroned upon the praises of my people. I am not enthroned upon an industry that uses the name of my son to make money for the building of personal kingdoms and personal glory.
Worship is not a road to me, but a river from me, to those who rend their hearts.
Worship, that is acceptable to me, rises from hearts that have submitted to the knife of my word. From the fragrance of crushing. When you worship in spirit without truth, you receive a spirit of deception. Dead religion makes you feel alive, momentarily, but produces no long-term fruit. It does nothing but stifle the development of my son in my temple - in my people.
Much of what people are calling worship is nothing more than novocain. Don't apply the name of Jesus to your senses. That is what the pagans do, with chanting and ambience. If you want my fruit, apply my word to your heart. If you want to worship me, obey my word. Then, I will surround you with songs of deliverance. Then you will make a joyful song to me from a place of purity and refinement that I will accept.
Many people believe that my fruit can be possessed, as if through a Holy Spirit dispenser, in false church atmospheres. Or, by the press of a button. It's nothing but smoke and mirrors. Where my word is not upheld with uncompromised conviction, it's all kum ba and no Yah.
If you are not laid before the knife of my word, that divides the thoughts and intents of the heart, and cuts bone from marrow, I do not receive your worship.
Beware of the temptation to numb the pain and unrest in your souls with carnal worship in my name. I intend for your brokenness to bring your attention to me. To bring you to repentance. Instead, many are numbing it and calling it a move of my Spirit. But it is sensual and demonic. I intend to use your emptiness and pain to draw you to repentance and deep, lasting healing. To my all-satisfying word. To the cross. Instead of receiving the bread of life, by allowing my Spirit to knead the Word of God into your hearts and work contrition and repentance, you choose fast food. A false sense of security, through sensory experience.
My true worshippers choose to lay upon my altar as a living sacrifice, though it may be hot. False worshippers choose, instead, to apply novocain. I desire songs that are born from the intimate entanglement of my word with your heart in the valley. Choose my book, before the play button. Choose silence, before noise. Stillness before commotion. Reverence, before enthusiasm. Obedience before song. Repentance before thanksgiving. Mourning, before celebration. Godly sorrow, before joy. The simplicity of devotion before fanfare.
Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God's mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship. Romans 12:1
Steer clear of the siren song that exalts your emotions through your flesh, when you have not humbled yourself before my word. Carnal worship is a lullaby and an illusion that many apply because they aren't willing to examine their hearts before me, nor die to their flesh and will. If you feel your flesh rising in protest to this word, because you will feel lost without taking hits off of a false musical "Holy Spirit" dispenser, this is a sure sign of malnourishment and idolatry. Let the pain of conviction do its restorative work, because blessing follows. Repent and return to your first love.
Many wolves are masquerading as sheep to lead the elect astray. They believe they are sheep. They are blind guides. This is the time of the great falling away. Come out of the apostate church that preaches a sugar-coated gospel that does not call people to accountability. That does not call you to hate the world and leave everything, in order to pick up your cross and follow me. Discernment is needed and will be granted through the humble seeking of me through my word.
Conviction of my holiness, brought to life in you through my word and spirit, produces my fruit. Only then, will you make a genuinely joyful noise from a pure heart that is a beautiful fragrance rising to my throne. Rend your heart before you raise your voice, and I will receive you."
Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in the Spirit and in truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks. God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in the Spirit and in truth.” John 4:23 -24
