The Aisle

The restrainer is lifting
Souls are drifting
The harvest reaper
Has done much sifting
A kiss of stupor
is cast by phones
Wisdom comes
From Christ alone
The tree of knowledge
Or the tree of life
The puff of leaven
Or heaven's knife
Enter-tainment
Dulls discernment
The sting of death
is in the undercurrent
The Call to abide
Or independent pride?
Can the door be narrow
And the path be wide?
Do not be yoked
to such dark spells
The crossroad
is not parallel
A bended knee
The terebinth tree
Is the only aisle
For a bride to be

Psalm 135
The idols of the nations are silver and gold, made by human hands. They have mouths, but cannot speak, eyes, but cannot see. They have ears, but cannot hear, nor is there breath in their mouths. Those who make them will be like them, and so will all who trust in them.

I once had a dream that an enormous black serpent was choking the word of life out of people, but they had no idea, because with it, came a stupor of blindness.
A time is coming when those with wisdom and discernment will discard their phones in one fell swoop. We must not put God's grace to the test.
Until that day comes, I urge us all to limit the content and time spent on the internet. You kind of just have to whirlwind by!
If it's difficult, thank God for the evidence of a stronghold.
There is no FOMO when we are unified with an omniscient and Almighty God, through faith in Jesus Christ, the Word of God.
God bless you!
