When Lucifer was cast out of heaven for wanting to be worshiped as God, he became set on getting worship from humanity that would break God's heart and keep people for himself. (Ezekiel 28:15-18) Whether he's masquerading as Lady Liberty, Self-love, Buddha or the Papacy, no one is without worship. It's just a matter of who we worship. There are only two options.
