True Freedom and What's Ahead

Updated: May 15, 2022

The freedom convoys that are protesting tyrannical mandates in nations around the world, though righteous, must not steal our attention away from the only true freedom that God intends to birth in individuals. In his church.

It is right to put action behind conviction regarding wicked oppression (Prov: 31: 8 - 9). I'm grateful for the peaceful uprising of people who are reclaiming what is being stolen through corruption in leadership and by deception through propaganda.

And let us lift our eyes higher.

I recognize that it is eyes upon the Lord that have given many the unction to discern this evil and stand up for those who are suffering the effects of medical tyranny. And, there is also a battle we must fight in regards to our attention. It's easy for our attention to become consumed by even a righteous battle. But God wants to walk us through this, his way. And we must give him all of our trust, understanding and attention for what lies ahead.

If you see the oppression of the poor, and the violent perversion of justice and righteousness in a province, do not marvel at the matter; for high official watches over high official, and higher officials are over them. Ecclesiastes 5:8

Christ came to free us. He came to free us from the oppression of our sin. Of wickedness. Of death. Regardless of our circumstances, we who believe on the Lord, are FREE. Nothing and no one can take away the freedom that believers have through faith in Jesus. Not even a jail cell can revoke the all-access “kingdom pass” that we have as citizens of Heaven, adopted by grace through the shed blood of Jesus Christ, who came to offer remission of sins for those who come to Him. The glorious freedom, joy and peace offered through an intimate relationship with The Almighty is sufficient for every need.

I don't want to discourage anyone from the hope that the collective uprising against harmful mandates is spawning. I believe that it's God’s will that we hold the line in this regard. I will tell you that the world is going to get worse and that we are not even close to seeing any sort of “back to normal.” I say this not to discourage. I say it in order to redirect hope towards the only true and eternal hope - the only real security any of us can stand on, and that is, the Lord and his goodness. He will carry his faithful people through the dark times ahead.

Behind the obtuse un-budging of leaders regarding mandates is the globalist agenda. The hands of many leaders are tied because they are in allegiance to the World Economic Forum and Klaus Schwab. The Bible prophesied a new world order, or “beast” system. The WEF calls it The Great Reset or the Fourth Industrial Revolution. Behind the farces in the media over the last couple of years is something more sinister than most people realize.

We cannot negotiate or reason with puppets enslaved by a demonic master. Globalism has been in the works for thousands of years and will not easily roll over to the cries of the people against it. I pray that the righteous, through the power of the Holy Spirit, can restrain this wickedness for longer. We must be fervent in prayer and gathering, in order to fight this spiritual war. It must be spiritually addressed. Picketing is good, but the front line is on our knees in prayer.

When a nation will not repent of rebellion against the Lord, God hands it over to judgment, by pestilence, disease, war and the oppression of wicked leaders. America is one nation that is coming under judgement swiftly. God wants us to persevere and recognize that behind what we are about to see unfold, is the righteous judgment of a holy God. If we are with him, we aren't to fear.

“Or do you show contempt for the riches of his kindness, forbearance and patience, not realizing that God’s kindness is intended to lead you to repentance?” Romans 2:4

Many people believe that the world is a safe, good place made for our pleasure -- and not a mission or battle field against evil for the glory of a good God. There will be swift action taken to suppress the truth that is beginning to spread and open eyes to some of the deception going on. If you are not familiar with what the Bible says about the last days, ask the Lord to help you understand and see as you study scripture, because it tells us how many will be deceived, including in the church. The Bible is more accurately depicting what's unfolding than today's newspaper. You can trust it.

We must be diligent and not negligent when it comes to seeking the Lord, daily. It's in the secret place, that he intends to lovingly equip us for the storm ahead. As ambassadors of the gospel and vessels of his power. We must obey him by giving him our undivided attention, because he intends to dispatch his people to birth a revival amidst the blood and mess on the horizon.

We will be tempted to become distracted by the disasters ahead. God wants us to remain anchored in the truth that he is making all things new. And that what the enemy intends for evil, God intends for good. He promises to judge all things righteously -- and that includes the wicked.

Matthew 24:

And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not troubled; for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. 7 For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places. 8 All these are the beginning of sorrows. 9 Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and kill you, and you will be hated by all nations for My name's sake. 10And then many will be offended, will betray one another, and will hate one another. 11 Then many false prophets will rise up and deceive many. 12 And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold. 13 But he who endures to the end shall be saved. 14 And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come. 15 "Therefore when you see the 'abomination of desolation,' spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing in the holy place" (whoever reads, let him understand), 16 then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains. 17 Let him who is on the housetop not go down to take anything out of his house.18 And let him who is in the field not go back to get his clothes.19 But woe to those who are pregnant and to those who are nursing babies in those days! 20 And pray that your flight may not be in winter or on the Sabbath. 21 For then there will be great tribulation, such as has not been since the beginning of the world until this time, no, nor ever shall be.

Covid and mandates are not the only strategy up the sleeve of the WEF. Any calm before the storm is just another manipulative orchestration to recalibrate our sense of "normal" into a new and accepted definition of freedom that incorporates both overt and creeping oppressions. Wherever we are – in the calm before the storm or in the eye of it, we can rejoice, that we who believe, are free in Christ. The enemy is not the star of the show. Our Lord is.

“Why do the nations rage and the peoples plot in vain? The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the LORD and against his Anointed, saying, ‘Let us burst their bonds apart and cast away their cords from us.’ He who sits in the heavens laughs; the LORD holds them in derision.” Psalm 2: 1-3

War, famine and more is coming that will weaken the knees of many and make hearts faint. These will take place both within nations and also between nations. Many of these "threats" will be straw men or false flags. The media will spin tales or inflate the truth out of proportion in order to justify oppressive measures. The news media will say that these are attacks or natural occurrences, but they will have been provoked or even executed from within. It will be made to look like a "them" in order for there to be a pretense to get actual conflict or war going.

Beware of controlled opposition. Nearly all governments in history have employed this technique to trick and subdue adversaries. Notably, Vladimir Lenin, who said, "The best way to control the opposition is to lead it ourselves." Pray for discernment in all things, especially when fighting or supporting a political battle.

It's good to keep in mind that behind the far right/left . . . Red versus blue dialectic . . . are a lot of cackling, bonafide sorcerers stringing up people on both sides. I don't have qualms about identifying with a political party. I think it's necessary to vote the lesser of evils, and that not all politicians are evil either. There are good people in leadership, too. But, it's important to maintain the biblical perspective that in the end, on many political stages, is basically a snake eating its own tail.

Count Mirabeau, for example, was part of the controlled opposition. Everyone thought that he was supporting the revolution, but in reality, he supported the monarchy and was a personal friend of the king. He was a government agent pretending to look out for the interests of the people. We must carefully guard our thoughts and feelings when absorbing media and ask God to help us see what's really up. And trust him when he says, "don't go there." We have to stop putting our trust in man. We have to stop putting our trust in "experts". Our trust must be in the Lord, alone.

Cursed is the one who trusts in man, who draws strength from mere flesh and whose heart turns away from the LORD. Jeremiah 17:5

Psychological warfare is a tremendous weapon in controlled opposition. We need the Spirit to subdue our flesh (just as great an adversary) because these things will intentionally evoke emotion as a part of stirring the pot of tension. We must not let a a secretly united front behind the curtain divide us intentionally. There is a division that happens naturally when anyone chooses to follow Christ and obey his precepts and stand up for righteousness, but let that be the battle and not the side-show conducted from the shadows. Pray for wisdom.

Some leaders have seared consciences that are demented enough to escalate a war and create another crisis that includes more mandates, martial law and economic collapse. Even starvation. From a biblical perspective, this needs to happen in order to set the stage for a "savior", such as the antichrist or globalist policies to reestablish "peace and safety." (1 Thessalonians 5:3) The WEF counts on it in order to implement its well-advertised plan for a globalist economy.

The depth of evil is bottomless when it comes to the demon masquerade ball of the past two years. Even "truth-tellers" claiming veritable and honest investigative journalism must be filtered through the wisdom and discernment of the Holy Spirit, because many will be hireling infiltrators intended to discredit truth and set up straw men that require "righteous dismantling" through measures that will distract and appeal to people whose lives are hungry for meaning.

Many leaders are in criminal monopolies. There has to be another crisis. And, I believe, more than one. Do not, when the next crisis occurs, accept the breaking news about it at face value. Know that any oppressive measures taken to "protect" people will be justified by lies and that the only one with our best interest in mind is the Lord. We must not put our trust in leaders who are enacting a political drama with false flags to manipulate us, but instead, trust in the Lord and follow his direction. We must keep advancing the kingdom, no matter what measures are taken to disintegrate the church.

God's peace will lead his people like the pillar of fire in Exodus. The satanic agenda will look like it's succeeding and Christians will be tempted to despair and wonder if we too are being punished or abandoned by the Lord. We must take heart and ask for vision.

The church is going to enter through a "ring of fire". It will be a refining fire, and a necessary part of the birth of new life as people fall to their knees in desperate repentance before the Lord. This ring of fire is coming to purify the bride of Christ and to test and wake up the lukewarm. Will we take up our crosses and follow Jesus for real? Will we willingly enter into suffering and persecution as the assigned vocation as followers of the suffering servant, Jesus? Or will we be in the prophesied great falling away?

When I ask God to help me pray in alignment with his will, it's often about increasing birth pains – the impending war / famine / disease prophesied in Matthew 24 and more. But, the focus isn't on avoiding these things. It's on what they have to do with Luke 17. The Lord keeps bringing my prayers back to Luke 17:20, onward: The coming of the kingdom. Not that we aren't supposed to fight for righteousness in the physical earth, but so that our focus may be on the Lord. He wants to use those who are willing and walking in the Spirit as midwives for new life. A harvest. Even in the midst of chaos, violence, fear, deprivation and perceived impossibility. But, we have to surrender now, and seek first the Kingdom of God and his righteousness.

The Coming of the Kingdom of God, Luke 17

20 Once, on being asked by the Pharisees when the kingdom of God would come, Jesus replied, “The coming of the kingdom of God is not something that can be observed, 21 nor will people say, ‘Here it is,’ or ‘There it is,’ because the kingdom of God is in your midst.”

22 Then he said to his disciples, “The time is coming when you will long to see one of the days of the Son of Man, but you will not see it.23 People will tell you, ‘There he is!’ or ‘Here he is!’ Do not go running off after them. 24 For the Son of Man in his day will be like the lightning, which flashes and lights up the sky from one end to the other. 25 But first he must suffer many things and be rejected by this generation. 26 “Just as it was in the days of Noah, so also will it be in the days of the Son of Man. 27 People were eating, drinking, marrying and being given in marriage up to the day Noah entered the ark. Then the flood came and destroyed them all.

28 “It was the same in the days of Lot. People were eating and drinking, buying and selling, planting and building. 29 But the day Lot left Sodom, fire and sulfur rained down from heaven and destroyed them all.

30 “It will be just like this on the day the Son of Man is revealed.31 On that day no one who is on the housetop, with possessions inside, should go down to get them. Likewise, no one in the field should go back for anything. 32 Remember Lot’s wife! 33 Whoever tries to keep their life will lose it, and whoever loses their life will preserve it. 34 I tell you, on that night two people will be in one bed; one will be taken and the other left. 35 Two women will be grinding grain together; one will be taken and the other left.” 36

37 “Where, Lord?” they asked.

He replied, “Where there is a dead body, there the vultures will gather.”

We are given the charge of advancing the great commission -- to make the good news of the gospel message heard clearly by all. The rapture will not occur until we complete the harvest of souls that must happen beforehand. We have a job to tell people about Jesus. What a privilege it is to be invited to be a disciple of Jesus.

God is calling us to cast off undue concern with ourselves and of this world so that we can receive and facilitate the "baby" of revival through coming birth pains. But, revival has to begin in our own hearts and lives. In the secret place -- alone, with the Lord. God wants to use dire circumstances on the horizon to turn the hearts of men towards himself and the church back to its first love. It won't make the news. It may not even make the streets. But stand fast in assurance that he will use homes, fringe and unlikely places -- to the dismay of the wise, prudent and religious people in more "lofty" places. (Matt 11:25)

Repent and do the things you did at first. If you do not repent, I will come to you and remove your lampstand from its place. But you have this in your favor: You hate the practices of the Nicolaitans, which I also hate. He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. Revelation 2:5

Let's not marvel at the mess surrounding the birth, or at what the devil is up to. Let's marvel at what God is doing and what he is about to do among those who have all hands on deck and eyes fixed on God.

Let's go to the Lord. Let's ask him to create in us clean hearts and make us vessels fit for use. Let's seek the gift of conviction and repentance. Let's offer him our home and our resources. Let's withhold nothing from him. Let's offer him the first fruits of our time, day, money and thoughts. Let's purify ourselves of double-mindedness and put all at his feet and prepare to watch him work the miraculous in the days ahead.

Most importantly, let's spend as much time with him as possible – and obey what he tells us and shows us in his word. Let's not wait for the tsunami to hit to find a foothold in the Lord. Let's not wait until we are in the thick of warfare to look for weapons, but let's go to the Lord for preparation, now.

Come to the well of his perfect rest! If we abide there, we will find our hands, our lips and our feet working in the Kingdom come and his glory manifested before our eyes.

Believe the words of the Jesus:

Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father. John 14:12

Glorify your name, Lord.
