Rest

When in me, discontentment sounds

Its note casts off my head, my crown

In pride, I have abandoned post

Looking for greater jobs to boast

No more, will I reject God's call

When snakes whisper that it's too small

I will live my life in the blood of Jesus

And paint with it my home as my Father pleases

I'll fend for the task that He's given again

In thanksgiving for how he's chosen me for Him

To guard this crown that He has appointed

Is peace and joy as God's beloved anointed ⠀⠀⠀

His master replied, 'Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master's happiness! Matthew 25:21
